Event Q&A’s

  1. When do Online Registration close?
  2. Approximately 2 weeks prior to the walk date. On the day tickets can be purchased after this time.

  3. What does Online Registration include?
  4. Registration includes walk, shuttle bus return (where necessary) and flower release service/remembrance card service (please note flower release is only occurring in selected locations).

    Flowers are allocated for all pre–registered adults only.

  5. Can I register more than one person at a time through Online Registration?
  6. Yes. You can register multiple adults & Children on a single registration form. Each adult will be provided with their own fundraising page.

  7. What happens after I register?
  8. After you have registered online, you will receive a confirmation email (check your junk mail if nothing has appeared on your inbox after an hour). This email will confirm your purchase/registration, receipt of payment and fundraising information.

  9. Do I need to check in on the day?
  10. Yes. On arrival please send 1 person from your group to confirm your attendance. If you would like your babies name read out at the ceremony please ensure this is provided to our volunteers at the registration desk.

  11. Is Registration available on the day?
  12. Yes. Registration is available on the day at the follow prices:

    • Adults – $25
    • Children (3–17) – $10
    • Children (2 and under) – Free

    Please note there are no guarantees a flower will be available for release for on the day registrations. Your baby’s name can still be read out at the service.

  13. Will merchandise be sold at the event?
  14. Yes – at selected locations. There will be a Bears Of Hope tent where you will be able to purchase various merchandise.

  15. Do I have to wear a Choosing Hope T–shirt?
  16. No. Choosing Hope T–shirts are entirely optional to wear on the day. However, if you would like to wear our shirt, you can purchase from our online shop, on the day of your event (limited numbers) or fundraise for a free T–shirt by raising over $150 through your online page. Please refer to our Fundraising Guidelines in the menu bar for further details on incentives.

  17. What if my walk has a different end location from where it starts?
  18. There will be a free shuttle bus to take you back to the starting point after the service.

  19. What if there is bad weather on the day of my walk?
  20. Bears Of Hope reserves the right to cancel or postpone a walk due to safety concerns. Please refer to the Terms & Conditions for further information.

  21. My walk is over; can I still order my free incentive?
  22. Incentive orders can be made up until the 31st October.
